Adjusting Paper Feeding and
Receiving Conditions
[Special Paper Ctrl]
You can adjust the paper feeding and paper receiv-
ing conditions when using special paper or when
unevenness and blurring occur in printed images.
Paper feeding adjustment for special
paper
You can adjust the paper feeding conditions depend-
ing on the characteristics of the paper.

Touch [Special Paper Ctrl] in the
[Functions] tab screen.

Touch [Paper Feed Adj.].

Set each item as necessary.
The setting items are listed below.
• [S-Tray Upper Limit]
• [Paper-Feed Amount]
Touch [Specific] to specify [Clutch ON Timing]
and [Clutch OFF Timing].
BFor appropriate adjustment val-
ues, consult your dealer or autho-
rized service representative.

Touch [OK].
The [Special Paper Ctrl] screen is displayed.
BIt is useful if you register the adjust-
ment values that you have set.

Paper receiving adjustment for spe-
cial paper
You can adjust the paper receiving conditions depend-
ing on the characteristics of the printed image and the
paper.
