Saving Paper Original as Data

Paper originals can be read with the scanner of this
machine and the data can be saved in [Storage] or
[USB].

A memory card installed in this machine
Once the original data is saved, the data can be
used as follows:
• Printing the original data on this machine

• Printing the original data that is overlaid on a
paper original

BTo use [Storage], it is necessary to
install a memory card in this machine.
BThe original data that was saved uses
the unique file format for this machine.
You can use the original data on "RISO
USB PRINT MANAGER".
BWhen the optional RISO Controller
IS300 is connected, the original data
that is read in the scan mode is saved
in the IS300. The data cannot be saved
in [Storage] or [USB].

Installing a memory card

To use [Storage], it is necessary to install a memory
card in this machine.
Purchase a commercially available memory card.
You can use the following types of cards.
• SD card
• SDHC card
BWe do not provide any warranty cover-
ing damage to the data on the card that
is caused by a natural disaster or
unforeseen event. We recommend that
you use your computer to make back-
up copies of any important documents.
