Syntax
For EB or SD cards

In standalone mode:
switch-mode { bridging | routing | mix-bridging-routing | normal | standard-ipv6 } slot slot-number
undo switch-mode slot slot-number
In IRF mode:
switch-mode { bridging | routing | mix-bridging-routing | normal | standard-ipv6 } chassis
chassis-number slot slot-number
undo switch-mode chassis chassis-number slot slot-number
For SC or SRP2XBSLAVE cards

In IRF mode:

Parameters
bridging: Enables MAC extension mode.
routing: Enables route extension mode.
mix-bridging-routing: Enables mixed extension mode.
normal: Enables normal mode.
standard-ipv6: Enables IPv6 standard mode.
chassis chassis-number: Specifies an IRF member switch. The chassis-number argument represents the IRF
member ID of the switch. (In IRF mode)
slot slot-number: Specifies an LPU. The slot-number argument represents the slot number of the LPU.
Description
Use the switch-mode command to set the operating mode of an EB, SC, SD, or SRP2XBSLAVE card.
Use the undo switch-mode command to restore the default operating mode of an EB, SC, SD, or
SRP2XBSLAVE card.
