Disconnect power before servicing.
Replace all parts and panels before operating.
Failure to do so can result in death or electrical shock.
1. Unplug washer or disconnect power.
2. Use a 777 key to unlock and remove
the service access door on top of the
metercase.
3. Press the thumb lock and disconnect the
four pin wire connector to the coin slide.
4. Set the ohmmeter to the R X 1 scale.
Set digital ohmmeters to lowest scale.
5. Touch the probes together and verify the
meter changes to indicates continuity (0Ω).
6. Insert the ends of the probes into the back,
or wire side, of the connector coming from
the coin slide switch.
7. Insert the correct number of coins for the
vend price into the coin slide.
8. Push the coin slide all the way in and verify
the meter indicates a closed circuit (0 Ω).
9. Pull the coin slide back out fully. The meter
should indicate an open circuit (infinite Ω)
10. If the meter does not indicate the readings
as listed above, verify the probes are
properly inserted and re-test.
11. If the meter continues to indicate readings
different than those listed above, then
remove the coin slide to diagnose why there
was no switch closer.

NOTE: After installation of the coin slide
mechanism with extension switch, a test of
the switch actuation must be performed to
make sure the coin slide extension is installed
correctly and actuates the switch when coin
slide is pushed in with proper amount of coins
inserted.
