VENT TUBE
Electrical Shock Hazard
Disconnect power before servicing.
Replace all parts and panels before
operating.
Failure to do so can result in death or
electrical shock.
1. Unplug washer or disconnect power.
2. Turn off the water supply to the washer.
3. Remove the back panel (See page 4-28).
NOTE: The vent tube is attached near the
bottom left rear of the outer tub. It allows air
to leave the tub and exit out the back of the
washer near the inlet valve. There is a one
way flapper valve in the vent tube that limits
suds escaping through the vent tube.
4. Remove the clamp securing the vent tube to
the back of the outer tub and remove tube.

1. Unplug washer or disconnect power.
2. Turn off the water supply to the washer.
3. Remove the back panel (See page 4-28).
4. Remove the T-20 screw, at the back of the
washer, securing each water inlet valve.
5. From inside the washer, twist the valve body
to align the locking tabs with the cut-outs in
the back panel. Pull the valve out of the hole
in the panel.
6. Lower the valve to gain access to the hose
clamps and Rast connectors.
7. Lift the locking tabs and disconnect the
wire connectors to the water inlet valves.
The blue connector is for the hot water
valve number 1, the white connector is for
cold water valve number 3 and the grey
connector is for cold water valve number 2.
8. Loosen the clamp and disconnect the hose
from each water inlet valve.
