15. Turn the slide over and remove three
Phillips screws that secure the retaining bar.
Remove the retaining bar. Make sure the
tapered holes of the retainer are positioned
correctly to accept the tapered screws
during reassembly.

16. We will change this coin slide from $2.00
to $1.00. Take two slots out of the coin slide
assembly.
17. Replace them with two blanks that were
in the storage area. Each blank or slot has
a tab at one end and a hole at the other
end. Place tab in first, under the edge of the
slide. Set insert down with post in the hole.

18. Reinstall the retaining bar with three
Phillips screws to secure the slots and
blanks.
19. Turn the slide over and reinsert it into the
coin slide assembly.
20. Place the spare inserts back in the storage
area.
21. Reinstall the retainer with one Phillips
screw.
22. Turn the coin slide assembly over.
23. Reinstall the bottom half of the extension
with two Phillips screws.
24. Turn the coin slide assembly back to the
upright position.
25. Reinstall the ratcheting bar along the edge
of the slide.
26. Reinstall the cover, with springs, over the
spare inserts storage.
27. Reinstall the top half of the extension by
placing the tab in the slot. Hold the springs
up out of the way. Rotate the top half of
the extension flat, aligning the holes of the
extension, cover and coin slide assembly.
Reinstall two Phillips screws.
28. Reconnect the ends of the springs to the
hooks of the extension.
29. Check switch continuity by inserting the
meter probes into the wire side of the plug.
30. Insert the correct amount of coins for the
new vend price. This was changed to $1.00.
31. Slide the coin slide in and watch for the
deflection of the meter to verify that the
switch was activated.
