The L60 supports the IEC 60870-5-104 protocol. The L60 can be used as an IEC 60870-5-104 slave device connected to a
maximum of two masters (usually either an RTU or a SCADA master station). Since the L60 maintains two sets of IEC
60870-5-104 data change buffers, no more than two masters should actively communicate with the L60 at one time.
The
IEC ------- DEFAULT THRESHOLD
M_ME_NC_1 analog data. These settings group the L60 analog data into types: current, voltage, power, energy, and other.
Each setting represents the default threshold value for all M_ME_NC_1 analog points of that type. For example, to trigger
spontaneous responses from the L60 when any current values change by 15 A, the
ting should be set to 15. Note that these settings are the default values of the deadbands. P_ME_NC_1 (parameter of mea-
sured value, short floating point value) points can be used to change threshold values, from the default, for each individual
M_ME_NC_1 analog point. Whenever power is removed and re-applied to the L60, the default thresholds will be in effect.
The IEC 60870-5-104 and DNP protocols can not be used at the same time. When the
setting is set to "Enabled", the DNP protocol will not be operational. When this setting is changed it
TION
will not become active until power to the relay has been cycled (Off/On).

MESSAGE
MESSAGE
The L60 supports the Simple Network Time Protocol specified in RFC-2030. With SNTP, the L60 can obtain clock time over
an Ethernet network. The L60 acts as an SNTP client to receive time values from an SNTP/NTP server, usually a dedicated
product using a GPS receiver to provide an accurate time. Both unicast and broadcast SNTP are supported.
