Safe Use Guidelines
The DNA Engine instruments are designed to be safe to operate under the following
conditions:
• Indoor use
• Altitude up to 2000 m
• Ambient temperature 5–31°C
• Maximum relative humidity 90%, noncondensing
• Transient overvoltage per Installation Category II, IEC 664
• Pollution degree 2, in accordance with IEC 664
Electromagnetic Interference
These devices comply with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following
two conditions: (1) these devices may not cause harmful interference, and (2) these devices
must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired
operation.
These devices have been tested and found to comply with the EMC standards for emis-
sions and susceptibility established by the European Union at time of manufacture.
This digital apparatus does not exceed the Class A limits for radio noise emissions from dig-
ital apparatus set out in the Radio Interference Regulations of the Canadian Department of
Communications.

This equipment qualifies as an "Exempted device" under Section 15.103(c) of the FCC Rules.
Nonetheless, the design has been verified to comply within limits for Class "A" digital device.
