The gradient screen will appear:
Enter the lower limit temperature (for the purposes of this example, 50°), then press
«Proceed». The upper temperature screen will appear:
Enter the upper temperature (for the purposes of this example, 70°), then press «Proceed».
(Use integers only; decimals are not accepted).
The next screen requires you to enter a hold time for the temperature gradient step:
Enter the hold time in the form of min:sec. Press «Proceed». A confirmation screen
will appear:
Select "Yes" to enter the step into memory and proceed to the next step; select "No" to
reject or edit the current step. To preview, select Option, then Preview. Preview gives the
predicted temperatures for each of the wells along the sample block's long axis. (The lines
do not all appear in the display; use the «Select» keys to scroll up or down.)
