When installed in a row, the distance between the appliance and adjacent kitchen units shall
be at least 2 cm on both sides (Figure 31-1). On one side, a high kitchen cabinet (higher than
the cooker) may be installed at a distance of at least 10 cm. On the other side, only a kitchen
element of equal height as the cooker may be installed (Figure 31-2). The adjacent surfaces
and cabinet walls (floor, back kitchen wall, side walls) shall be resistant to temperatures of at
o
least 100
C. Between the rear panel of the cooker and the wall, leave at least 2 cm clearance
for air circulation.
Vertical distance between the cooker and the hood shall be 65 cm or at least as specified in
the hood installation instructions (Figure 31-1). If no hood is installed, the minimum distance
between the cooker and the kitchen wall-mounted unit above it shall be 70 cm (Figure 31-2).
To prevent potential tipping of the cooker, fix it to the wall
(4) by means of the elements (1), (2) and (3) supplied in the
accessory kit (Figure 32). Incline the cooker and push it up
to the wall and then let it down making sure that the lower
edge of the cooking top is hung onto the wall support (1).
