M2 to apply the measured value to
the respective person. This assign-
ment can be made as long as the
values are displayed. If you do not
apply them, the measured value is
automatically stored to the display-
ed memory.
5.2 Recalling the measured
values
The device must be switched off to
recall data from memory. Press M1
for the first person's stored values
and M2 for the second person's
values. The corresponding symbols
M1 or M2 will be displayed. First,
the mean value of all stored values
for a person will be displayed. An
"A" (for "Average") appears on the
display and the number displayed
in the top right-hand corner indica-
tes the number of measurements,
from which the average value was
calculated.
When pressing again, the most
recently stored measured value will
be displayed. By repeatedly pres-
sing the memory button all stored
values of the selected memory can
be recalled one by one. The measu-
red value and the number of the
memory position are displayed
when you access stored values. The
number of the memory position,
the date and time appear in 2 – 3
second intervals.
Tensoval duo control can store up
to 30 measured values for each
person (M1 or M2). The most
recent measured value is always in
memory position No.1. When all
memory positions are occupied the
oldest value will be deleted each
time.
Important: The calculated
mean value is based on all
measured values stored for the res-
pective person. If only two measu-
red values are in memory, the mean
40
value will be calculated from these
two measured values. If only one
measured value is in memory, no
mean value will be calculated.
You can cancel the memory's recall
of data at any time by pressing the
START/STOP button. Otherwise the
device will switch itself off automa-
tically after approx. 30 seconds.
Even if the power supply fail, e.g.
when changing the batteries, the
stored values will still be available.
5.3 Deleting the measured
values
You can delete all stored data eit-
her in M1 or in M2. To do this,
press the memory button of the
corresponding memories M1 or M2.
The average value will appear on
the display. Hold down the memory
button for a longer time. After four
seconds the display will flash. After
further four seconds all data will be
deleted.
It is not possible to delete individu-
al readings. On the display appears
only M1 or M2.
Important: If you release the
memory button before the end
of the eight second time limit, no
data will be deleted.
English
If there is a single measured value
in memory, this stored value cannot
be deleted.

5.4 Using guest mode

When a third person uses Tensoval
duo control, it is recommended that
they use the guest mode. This one
is used to store a measured value
neither to the memory positions M1
nor to M2. This avoids bias to the
average values and stored values of
the two main users of the device.
To take measurements in guest
mode, start the measuring procedu-
re by simultaneously pressing
memory buttons M1 and M2. The
START/STOP button need not be
pressed. At the end of measure-
ment the display simultaneously
shows both M1 and M2 above the
measured values rather than either
symbol alone. The measured value
can thus not be applied to either
person, and the measured values
will not be stored.
To switch off the device, press the
START/STOP button, also in guest
mode. Otherwise the device will
switch itself off automatically after
3 minutes.
