Enabling GVRP Globally

To configure GVRP globally, use the following command.
• Enable GVRP for the entire switch.
CONFIGURATION mode
gvrp enable

To inspect the global configuration, use the show gvrp brief command.

Enabling GVRP on a Layer 2 Interface

To enable GVRP on a Layer 2 interface, use the following command.
• Enable GVRP on a Layer 2 interface.
INTERFACE mode
gvrp enable

To inspect the interface configuration, use the show config command from INTERFACE mode or use the
show gvrp interface command in EXEC or EXEC Privilege mode.
