2 – Stow
Moves the system to a position where the AZ is zeroed triggering the AZ limit switch and then
moving on the EL axis in the up or down direction depending on the configured system. The EL
UP or EL ST Limit switches are turned on when movement on EL axis completes.
3 –Transmitter Enable (TE)
Enables the Transmitter once locked onto satellite.
3 - Transmitter Disable (TD)
Disables the Transmitter once locked onto satellite.
4 – Restore Controller Defaults (CCR)
This restores the beam, modem and platform to its default configuration settings.
5 – Compass Manual Calibration (CPM)
This is where the manual compass calibration heading is read. During the 3 point compass
calibration, the system will be deployed to an angle (0.90 and 180) after system is deployed to the
first angle depress CPM, compass angle will be calibrated.
Press CPM at each angle to achieve the 3 point manual calibration.
Compass Automatic Calibration (CPA)

Ensure that there are no metallic objects that could interfere with the Compass, and that the
Mobile Platform is on level surface.
Orient the so that back of reflector points North. If Platform is vehicle mounted ensure front end
(windshield window) is pointed North. It is recommended that you use an external compass to be
as accurate as possible with the orientation.
The Antenna will now rotate in 90 intervals and attempt to calibrate the compass.
The LCD Screen will indicate that the Compass Calibration has been completed.
