The person restraint system comprises:
Hip belt with lock

28.3 Safety and handling instructions

Basically, all passengers must be seated on a
standard vehicle seat with three-point seat belt.
This is the safest possibility of transportation. If
this cannot be implemented, the wheelchair as
well as the passenger must be secured. The
use of this retention system must be observed
in the following guidelines and safety instruc-
tions.
The wheelchair must only be transported
in the direction of travel of the vehicle.

Both rear belts (retractors) must be arranged
symmetrically and anchored horizontally to the
vehicle floor at a maximum angle of 45°. Both
front belts must also be arranged symmetri-
cally and must not exceed a maximum angle of
60° to the horizontal position. The retractors for
the front and rear must not be swapped.
