The light on the
NOTE
During runs at very cold temperatures, nomi-
nally –10°C or below, ice may form around the
door opening, causing the door to stick shut. If
this happens, press firmly on the door in several
locations around the door opening and depress
the foot pedal again.
To minimize icing, remove moisture from inside
the chamber, from the chamber gasket, and from
the inner door surface before each run by wiping
these surfaces with a clean cloth. Also, keep the
door closed as much as possible.
At the end of a run, unload the rotor following the instructions in the
applicable rotor manual.

CAUTION
If disassembly reveals evidence of leakage, you
should assume that some fluid escaped the rotor.
Apply appropriate decontamination procedures
to the centrifuge and accessories as required.
