Assigning a Static IP Address to the SP
If your network does not use DHCP, the NET MGT port is not operational until you configure
network settings for the service processor.

Log In to the SP (SER MGT Port)

After the SP boots, access the Oracle ILOM CLI to configure and manage the server. The
Oracle ILOM CLI prompt (->) is displayed the first time the SP is booted. The default

Select your continent.
Select your country or region.
Select the time zone.
Accept the default date and time, or change the values.
Type the root password twice. This password is for the superuser account for the Oracle Solaris OS
on this server. This password is not the SP password.
If you are unable to use DHCP on your network, you must connect to the Oracle ILOM
