charges". The current setting is marked. The
cost display is off. The time is displayed
instead of the costs of an ongoing external
call.

Prerequisite: you have requested "communi-
cation of connection charges during / at the
end of a connection" from the network
carrier.
During an external call, after every charge
pulse the current call charges are displayed
for up to 5 seconds in the first display line.
Otherwise, the external phone number is
displayed. By pressing the "Units" key, you
can display the current call charges for 5
seconds at any time.
At the end of a connection, the costs of the
last call are displayed for 20 seconds. The
time then appears.

can prevent unlocking by specifying a code.
Then, the telephone can only be unlocked
by entering the 4-digit code.
