3.1 Options and Accessories

Danfoss offers a wide range of options and accessories for
the frequency converters.
3.1.1 Mounting of Option Modules in Slot B
Disconnect power to the frequency converter.
For A2 and A3 enclosure types:
1.
Remove the LCP, the terminal cover, and the LCP
frame from the frequency converter.
2.
Fit the MCB1xx option card into slot B.
3.
Connect the control cables and relieve the cable
by the enclosed cable strips.
Remove the knockout in the extended LCP frame
delivered in the option set, so that the option fits
under the extended LCP frame.
4.
Fit the extended LCP frame and terminal cover.
5.
Fit the LCP or blind cover in the extended LCP
frame.
6.
Connect power to the frequency converter.
7.
Set up the input/output functions in the
corresponding parameters, as mentioned in
chapter 9.2 General Specifications.
For B1, B2, C1 and C2 enclosure types:
1.
Remove the LCP and the LCP cradle.
2.
Fit the MCB 1xx option card into slot B.
3.
Connect the control cables and relieve the cable
by the enclosed cable strips.
4.
Fit the cradle.
5.
Fit the LCP.

3.1.2 General Purpose I/O Module MCB 101
MCB 101 is used for extension of the number of digital
and analog inputs and outputs of the frequency converter.
MCB 101 must be fitted into slot B in the frequency
