Selection of system type

EPU 2370 is a multipurpose control for
use with several different types of
systems. Therefore the type of system
must be selected before the control is
operated. The selection procedure is as
follows: 1) Connect sensors, 2) Connect
voltage, 3) Select system type.
The individual system type numbers
denote different control principles. When
the necessary sensors have been
connected and the system type
selected, control operation on that
principle is automatically activated.
The following system types can be
selected in P0.2 (see also page 8):
Description
Installation
No control, but sensor temperatures can be
read off and valve motor and relay outputs can be
controlled manually.
Hot-water-service system
Control of flow heat exchanger with
two and three-way valve - (PI).
Control of hot-water-service system with
secondary mixing - (PI)
Control of heat exchanger - storage tank charging with
one or two tank sensors - (ON/OFF + PI).
Radiator system
Constant flow temperature control - (PI)
Constant room temperature control - (P+PI)
Water to air system (unit heater)
Constant room temperature control - (P+PI)
Floor heating system
Constant flow temperature control - (PI)
Constant room temperature control - (P+PI)
Ventilation system
Constant duct temperature control - (PI)
Constant room temperature control - (P+PI)
Refrigeration system
Constant brine temperature control - (PI)
Constant room temperature control - (P+PI)
