12.3 The Copy Menu

The Copy Menu is used for copying presets, banks, songs, sets, instant access switches, and internal control change
settings from one MFC-101 memory location to another.
NOTE: You cannot copy an entry to itself. When a valid source and destination are selected, the ENTER footswitch
LED will flash. Press ENTER to execute the copy.
 IMPORTANT! COPY operations cannot be undone. Once you press ENTER, there is no turning back. Work carefully!

12.3.0 Copy Preset

Copy Preset is used to copy MFC-101 presets from one location to another.
Copy Prst 001 to 001
PARAMETER
Use the 
 footswitches to move between the Source Preset and Destination Preset parameters.
ENTER
To execute, press
. The MFC-101 will display
NOTE: Copying an MFC-101 preset will not change which Axe-Fx Preset it loads. Axe-Fx preset mapping can be modified by
changing the Axe-Fx Preset Tx Map (12.4.3)

12.3.1 Copy Bank

Copy Bank is used to copy MFC-101 Banks from one location to another.
Copy Bank 001 to 001

. The MFC-101 will display
NOTE: Since BANKS have no user editable parameters, BANK COPY is really just a way to bulk copy presets. The actual number
of presets which "reside" in a given bank at a given time (as well as the total number of banks) will depend on the global Bank
Size setting. Due to the fact that the total number of presets is not evenly divisibly by all bank sizes, the last bank may also have
fewer presets to copy TO or FROM.
NOTE: "Copying" has no effect on determining which Axe-Fx presets are loaded when the MFC-101 is in AXE-FX MODE.
