12.1.7 Preset External Switch Settings

EDIT : PRESET : PAGE
Preset External Switch Settings is used to make settings for the Preset which override the Global External Switch Settings
(12.4.14). You must first select a preset (12.1.0 on p. 41) to edit it using this menu page.
XS1 #GBL Ch01 TypHdw
PARAMETER
Use the 
 footswitches to move between the four parameters of this page: External Switch Number, Switch
Function and MIDI Channel and Switch Type.
A value of GBL for Switch Function allows the global settings for the selected switch to operate (12.4.14), ignoring any other
settings made for it on this page whenever the currently selected preset is loaded.
A value of OFF for MIDI CC# disables the selected switch whenever the currently selected preset is loaded.
The Switch Type parameter determines what happens when the external switch is stomped:
Switch Type Value
HDW ("Hardware Follow")
TOG ("Toggle")
AUT ("Auto Off")*
* Auto Off Switches send their programmed ON message followed quickly (~250ms) by the OFF message
NOTE: Each switch needs to be configured with the correct External Switch Hardware Type (see 12.5.17)

12.1.8 Preset External Switch On/Off Values

EDIT : PRESET : PAGE
Preset External Switch On/Off Values determines the data value which will be sent when each of four optional external
switches is turned ON or OFF, overriding the global on/off value settings (12.4.15) when the selected preset is loaded.
You must first select a preset (12.1.0) to edit it using this menu page.
XS1 Off 000 On 127
PARAMETER
Use 
 to select between External Switch (XS) Number, Off Value, and On Value parameters.
Any value from 0-127 may be used for ON or OFF.
A setting of "OFF" for either state will cause that switch state to send nothing.
NOTE: A value of GBL in Switch Function (above) allows the global On/Off value settings for the selected switch to operate
(12.4.15), causing its settings on this page to be ignored.
IMPORTANT: Preset-level switch values only apply if the preset's corresponding external switch is NOT set to "Global".
