9.3 Adding Songs to a Set

Just as SONGS allow a custom series of PRESETS to be mapped across the preset footswitches, SETS allow a custom
list of SONGS to be arranged in a list. The UP/DOWN footswitches step through the SONGS of the current SET. See
the table on p.13 for an overview of differences between operating modes.
The MFC-101 stores 10 Sets of up to 50 songs each. To add Songs to a set:
1. Press the EDIT footswitch to enter EDIT MODE.
2. Press SONG/SET footswitch to enter the SONG/SET edit menu.
3. Press the PAGE footswitch 2x to arrive at the Set Edit page:
Set 01 Sng01 = Sng01
4. Press the INCR or DECR footswitches to select a Set to edit.
5. Press the PARAMETER footswitch to move to the Set Songs ("slots") field.
6. Press INCR or DECR to select one of the 50 Set Song slots to edit, or select OFF if you want the
selected slot to contain NO song.
Press the PARAMETER footswitch to move to the Song Select field.

8. Press the INCR or DECR footswitches to assign a song to the currently selected song slot for the
currently selected set.
9. Use the PARAMETER and INCR/DECR footswitches to move between selecting from the 50
Set Song slots and assigning Songs.
6. Press EXIT to return to PERFORMANCE MODE.
NOTE: You can also edit the NAME of each set. See 12.2.3 on p. 48 for details.
