2 Inspecting the battery

The battery fluid level should be between the
"UPPER LEVEL" line and "LOWER LEVEL" line
marked on the battery case. If the battery fluid
level is low, add electrolyte or distilled water to
the "UPPER" level line.
If your battery has no level line markers, the fluid
should be
electrode plates.

If the side of the battery case is not in your direct
view due to equipment or other things on the
vehicle body, do the following:
Remove the battery's cap
Check the battery fluid level using an appro-
priate mirror like a hand mirror
Check whether the battery fluid
to the bottom
