THROTTLE POSITION SENSOR POSITIONING
Install the throttle position sensor as described below.
• Measure the resistance
sor terminals as shown.
$ 09900-25008: Multi circuit tester set
& Throttle position sensor resistance
• Measure the resistance
sor terminals as shown.
• Fully open the throttle valve with the throttle lever.
• Under above condition, position the throttle position sensor until
resistance is 2.66 – 4.94 kΩ.

• When the resistance
throttle position sensor mounting screws.
& Throttle position sensor resistance
% Throttle position sensor screw:
NOTE:
The throttle position sensor correct position to have the resis-
tance as 76% of the resistance

REMOUNTING

Remount the carburetor assembly in the reverse order of removal.
Pay attention to the following points.
CARBURETOR CLAMPS
Position the carburetor clamps as shown.

2.0 N . m (0.2 kgf . m, 1.5 lb-ft)

is 5 kΩ, should be 3.8 kΩ
