Reassembly - Suzuki GSF1200S 2001 Service Manual

REASSEMBLY

Reassemble the carburetors in the reverse order of disassembly.
Pay attention to the following points.
THROTTLE VALVE
• Turn the throttle stop screw and throttle valve synchronizing
screw until the throttle valve's bottom end 1 is aligned with the
foremost by-pass port 2 as shown.
• Apply a small quantity of THREAD LOCK "1342" to the throttle
valve mounting screws and tighten them.

Face the stamped side of the throttle valve out.
O-RING
• Apply thin coat of the grease "A" to each new O-ring.
( 99000-25010: SUZUKI SUPER GREASE "A"

Replace the O-ring with a new one.
• Install the new O-ring to its groove properly.

Replace the O-ring with a new one.
• Before installing the top cap, install the new O-ring.
#
Replace the O-ring with a new one.
PILOT SCREW
• After cleaning, reinstall the pilot screw to the original setting by
turning the screw in until it lightly seats, and then backing it out
the same number of turns counted during disassembly.

Replace the O-ring with a new one.
