REAR SPROCKET MOUNTING DRUM BEARING AND DUST
SEAL
• Install the new bearing and new dust seal using the special
tool.
% 09913-75520: Bearing installer
NOTE:
Apply SUZUKI SUPER GREASE "A" to the bearing and dust seal
lip before assembling the rear sprocket mounting drum.
For USA
& 99000-25030: SUZUKI SUPER GREASE "A"
For the other countries
& 99000-25010: SUZUKI SUPER GREASE "A"

REMOUNTING

Remount the rear wheel in the reverse order of removal.
Pay attention to the following points:
• Make sure that the brake disc is clean and free of any grease.
Apply THREAD LOCK SUPER "1360" to the brake disc bolts
and tighten them to the specified torque.
* 99000-32130: THREAD LOCK SUPER "1360"
" Brake disc bolt: 23 N . m (2.3 kgf . m, 16.5 lb-ft)
• Tighten the rear sprocket nuts to the specified torque.
" Rear sprocket nut: 60 N . m (6.0 kgf . m, 43.5 lb-ft)
NOTE:
The stamped mark 1 on the rear sprocket should face to the
outside.
• Adjust the drive chain slack after installing the rear wheel.
(! 2-15)
• Tighten the rear axle nut 2 to the specified torque.
" Rear axle nut: 100 N . m (10.0 kgf . m, 72.5 lb-ft)
• Install a new cotter pin. (For E-03, 28, 33)
• Tighten both chain adjuster lock nuts securely.
• After remounting the rear wheel, pump the brake pedal a few
times to check for proper brake operation.
