iPhone® App
The app for iPhone® is called Lorex Ping.
For instructions on connecting to your camera using an iPhone®, see 5 Connecting to
Your Camera on iPhone®, page 8.
12.1 Live Viewing with Lorex Ping for iPhone®
You can use Lorex Ping in portrait or landscape mode. Tilt the phone to switch between
portrait or landscape.
1. Disconnect button (only shown in portrait mode)
2. Video information
3. Record video to phone memory; press again to stop recording
4. Save snapshot of the camera to your phone
5. Turn on the audio stream from the camera's microphone
6. Play a siren on the camera
7. Activate 2–way-audio (Intercom) using the phone microphone
12.1.1 Controlling Your Camera with Your Touchscreen
In the live view, you can move your camera simply by swiping your Android phone's
touchscreen!
Swipe right to make your camera pan left, and swipe left to make your camera pan right.
Swipe up to make your camera tilt down, and swipe down to make your camera tilt up.
