34.3 Time and Date

This section shows you how:
1 To manually set the ZyWALL date and time.
2 To get the ZyWALL date and time from a time server.
For effective scheduling and logging, the ZyWALL system time must be accurate. The
ZyWALL's Real Time Chip (RTC) keeps track of the time and date. There is also a software
mechanism to set the time manually or get the current time and date from an external server.
To change your ZyWALL's time based on your local time zone and date, click Configuration
> System > Date/Time. The screen displays as shown.
