Engine Idle Speed; Crankcase Breather Hose - Suzuki RM-Z450 Owner's Service Manual

ENGINE IDLE SPEED

• Adjust the throttle cable play. (!2-16)
• Warm up the engine.
NOTE:
Make this adjustment when the engine is hot.
• Connect the multi-circuit tester to the high-tension cord.
• Start the engine, turn the throttle stop screw 1 and set the
engine idle speed as follows.
# Engine idle speed: 1 950 ± 100 r/min

CRANKCASE BREATHER HOSE

• Inspect the crankcase breather hose for damage, clogging
and bend. If any defects are found, the breather hose must be
replaced.
