Removal; Kick Starter - Suzuki RM-Z450 Owner's Service Manual

KICK STARTER

REMOVAL

• Drain engine oil. (!2-11)
• Drain engine coolant. (!13-3)
• Remove the brake pedal. (!16-18)
• Disconnect the radiator hose 1.
• Remove the right front protector 2.
• Remove the kick starter lever 3.
• Remove the right crankcase cover 4, dowel pins and gasket.
• Remove the clutch assembly. (!7-9)
• Remove the kick starter idle gear 5.
• Remove the kick return spring 6.
• Remove the kick starter shaft 7.
