1) Check the stator.
Is the stator OK?
YES Go to Step 8.
NO Faulty stator
Step 8
1) Measure the engine stop switch resistance. ("14-9)
Is the resistance OK?
• Faulty CDI unit
YES
• Open or short circuit in wire harness
NO Faulty engine stop switch
