CLUTCH
CLUTCH RELEASE CAMSHAFT
REMOVAL
• Disconnect the clutch cable 1.
NOTE:
Loosen the clutch cable adjuster when disconnecting.
• Remove the clutch cover and its gasket. (!7-3)
• Remove the pressure plate and push rod. (!7-3)
• Pull the clutch release camshaft 2 out of crankcase.
INSPECTION
CLUTCH RELEASE CAMSHAFT
• Inspect the clutch release camshaft for abnormal deflection
and damage.
• If any defects are found, replace the release camshaft with a
new one.
OIL SEAL AND BEARING
• Inspect the oil seal for oil leakage and oil seal lip damage.
• Inspect the bearing for play and smooth movement.
• Replace the defective parts with a new one if necessary.
