This chapter describes the front panel and rear panel of the AAM and shows you how to make
the hardware connections.

3.1 Front Panel

The figure below shows the front panel of the AAM.

3.1.1 Front Panel Ports

Chapter 3 Hardware Connections

Hardware Connections

DESCRIPTION
Only connect this port if you want to configure the AAM using the command line
interface (CLI) via the console port.
Connect these ports to a computer, a hub, an Ethernet switch or router.
Connect the Telco-50 connector USER pins (1-12, 26-37) to subscribers respectively.
Connect the Telco-50 connector CO pins (14-25, 39-50) to the telephone company for
subscribers respectively.
