Canceling Outbound Faxes

To cancel an individual outbound fax:
1.
Click Status & Logs > Fax Status.
2.
Find the fax that you want to cancel in the Outbound Fax Status table.
3.
Click Abort.

Description
The time that the inbound fax was initiated.
The channel number receiving the inbound fax.
The DID routing number, when applicable.
Either the recipient Username associated with the DID extension number or the channel
ID.
Fax ID information sent from the fax originator.
The total number of pages received.
Use the check box to select one or more outbound faxes to be sent immediately or
aborted. After selecting the faxes, click Send Now or Abort.
The state of a fax that either has not been sent or is still in progress. Outbound fax state
may be new, approval pending, preprocessing, pending, or sending.
When the outbound fax was initially queued.
The following factors determine the time shown here: pre-processing work load
(documents submitted for faxing are converted one at a time), the setting for Allow
Simultaneous Dialing to the Same Number, and user specified scheduling time. If a
previous attempt did not complete, this time shows when the next attempt will occur.
FaxFinder pulls the Username from the account used to log into the server and from the
User Information.
Information shown about the recipient includes:

If the fax was sent to multiple recipients, this column shows multiple recipients. Click
Details to view information about individual recipients.
Number of outbound fax pages. Click Details for more information about the outbound fax,
including how many times FaxFinder has attempted to send the fax. On the Details page,
click to Send Now or Abort to send or cancel the fax.
Description
The person the fax is addressed to.
The fax number scheduled to receive the fax.
The recipient's voice phone number.
The name of the recipient's business or organization.
