Sending a Loop Back Test Fax

After you have configured the SMTP, send a loop back test fax to confirm if FaxFinder can send and receive a fax
and route it correctly.
You will send a different type of test fax after configuring SIP and T.38.
1.
Click Fax Configuration > Inbound Routing and confirm where the fax will be routed. If you did not
change the default settings, the Admin email address will receive any incoming faxes. To change or verify
the Admin email address, refer to Updating the Admin Account.
2.
Click Fax Configuration and enter your FaxFinder's IP Address in the SIP Proxy/Gateway field.
3.
Leave default values in the other fields and click Save. All outbound faxes will be looped back to the
FaxFinder.
4.
Click Send Fax.
5.
Select Enter Recipient Info from the Find Recipient list.
6.
Enter 123-456-7890 as the Fax Number.
7.
Enter some text in the subject and comments fields and click Send Fax .
