Checking Channel and Fax Status

Use the Fax Status page to view the current state for each channel. It includes the status of any inbound or
outbound faxes. Users can immediately send or abort outbound faxes. Administrators can also reset channels.
To view a status, click Status & Logs > Fax Status.

Description
This is the status of the time server currently in use. It also shows error messages.

When Use Register is checked in the Fax Configuration > SIP settings, this shows the status
of FaxFinder connecting to the register for SIP call routing.
Current status of each printer set up in System Configuration > Printers.
Description
The sequential channel number receiving a fax.
The current channel state: Idle, Waiting for Ring, Connected, and Busied Out.
The total number of pages that a channel has sent or received.
The channel's current baud rate.
The fax number that is dialed.
Shows if Error Correction Mode is on or off for the channel.
The line encoding set for this channel.
The resolution used to transmit the page. Vertical scan line types include fine and
standard.
The identification received from the remote connection.
The modulation set for this channel.
If a fax is still transmitting, this will show receiving or delivering.
Description
Time server likely set to None.
FaxFinder is currently synchronizing with the time server.
FaxFinder last synchronized with the time server at the specified
date and time. The offset, if any, indicates how much FaxFinder
adjusted its time.
Time synchronization failed due to the error shown.
