Camshaft Installation - Honda V30 Magna VF500C Manual

CYLINDER HEAD/VALVE
CAMSHAFT INSTALLATION
Lubricate the cylinder head cam bearing surfaces
with molybdenum disulfide grease.
Loosen the all valve adjusters.
Check the camshaft marks so that you install each
camshaft in its correct location.
EX-F: Front cylinder exhaust
Place with the locating ridge toward the
left side.
EX-R: Rear cylinder exhaust
Place with the locating ridge toward the
right side.
IN-F:
Front cylinder intake
Place with the locating ridge toward the
left side.
IN-R: Rear cylinder intake
Place with the locating ridge toward the
right side.
I nstall each camshaft with sprocket into place
through the cam chain.
