INSTALLATION
Place the master cylinder on the handlebar and
install the holder with the "UP" mark facing up and
the two mounting bolts.
Align the holder mating surface with the handlebar
punch mark.
Tighten the top bolt first, then the bottom bolt.
I nstall the oil hose with the bolt and its two sealing
washers.
TORQUE:
25-35
N·m
(2.5-3.5
kg-m,
18-25
ft-Ib)
Connect the clutch switch wires to the switch ter-
minals.
Fill the reservoir and bleed the clutch system (page
7-4).
CLUTCH SLAVE CYLINDER
REMOVAL
Remove the slave cylinder cover (Page 7-4).
Remove the clutch oil bolt, then drain the clutch
fluid from the clutch system.
NOTE:
Avoid spilling clutch fluid on painted surfaces.
Remove the clutch slave cylinder mounting bolts
and clutch slave cylinder.
Remove the gasket and dowel pins.
Remove the clutch lifter rod.
