CYLINDER HEAD/VALVE
CYLINDER HEAD REMOVAL
Remove the carburetor (page 4-3) and exhaust pipes
(page 5-4).
Remove the two bolts attaching to the water pipe
and hose assem bly being careful not to damage
the a-rings.
Remove the oil pipe bolt and sealing washers from
the cylinder head.
Remove the front and rear cam chain tensioner base
mounting bolts.
Pull the cam chain tensioner base up.
Remove the slipper clip, washer and pin and remove
the tensioner slipper from the tensioner arm.
Remove the tensioner base.
NOTE:
Be careful not to let the clip, pin, washer or
cam chain fall into the crankcase.
