LIGHTS/SWITCHES/INSTRUMENT
NEUTRAl/DD SWITCH
Remove the right side cover and disconnect the
neutral/OD coupler.

Check the continuity between the Lg/R lead and
ground with the transmission in neutral. There
should be no continuity with the transmission in
any gear.
There should be continuity between the G/O lead
and ground with the transmission in the 00 posi-
tion. There should be no continuity in any other
gear.
BRAKE LIGHT SWITCHES
FRONT BRAKE SWITCH
Disconnect the front brake light switch wires from
the switch.
There should be continuity with the brake lever
applied and no continuity with the lever released.
Replace the switch if necessary.
REAR BRAKE SWITCH
Remove the right frame side cover.
Disconnect the rear brake light switch coupler.
Check the continuity between the green/yellow and
white/green leads.
There should be continuity with the brake pedal
depressed and no continuity with the pedal released.
Replace the switch if necessary.
