Control Cable Lubrication - Honda V30 Magna VF500C Manual

LUBRICATION
Clean the oil strainer screen.
I nstall the oil strainer packing onto the oil strainer
and install them onto the oil pump by aligning the
groove of the strainer with the pin of the oil pump.
NOTE:
Be careful not to drop the O-ring.
I nstall the oil pan.
I nstall the oil pump driven sprocket over the oil
pump shaft and tighten it with the washer and bolt.
TORQUE: 13-17 N·m (1.3-1.7 kg-m, 9-12 ft-Ib)
I nstall the right crankcase cover.
I nstall the exhaust pipe and muffler assembly in the
reverse order of removal.
Fill the crankcase with the recommended oil (Page
2-1).
CONTROL CABLE LUBRICATION
Periodically, disconnect the throttle and choke
cables at their upper ends. Thoroughly lubricate the
cables with a commercially available cable lubricant
or a light weight oil.
