Gearshift Linkage Installation - Honda V30 Magna VF500C Manual

Al TERNATOR/GEARSHI FT LINKAGE
Remove the drum stopper arm and spring.
INSPECTION
Check the stopper arms and springs for damage.
Check the planetary gears on the gearshift spindle
for wear or damage.
Check the drum shifter for wear or damage.
Check the ball bearing in the linkage case for
damage or excessive play.
GEARSHIFT LINKAGE INSTALLATION
Install the drum stopper arm and spring.
