Carburetor Installation - Honda V30 Magna VF500C Manual

FUEL SYSTEM
Align each throttel valve with the bypass hole edge
by turning the synchronization adjusting screws.
Check the throttle linkage and throttle valve opera-
tion by opening and closing the throttle lever.
Check the choke linkage and choke valve operation
by moving the choke arm.
CARBURETOR INSTALLATION
Connect the choke and throttle cables to the car-
buretor assembly.
NOTE:
Check the throttle and choke valve operation
before installation.
Remove the intake pipes from the front cylinder
head, and install them on the front carburetors.
Loosen the connecting bands on the rear cylinder
head intake pipes.
Fit the carburetors into place on the cylinder heads
and into the rear intake pipes. Tighten all intake
pipe connecting bands.
Make sure that the O-ring is in the groove of the air
cleaner case.
Install the air cleaner .case cover by aligning the
groove with the frame center pipe, slide the air
cleaner case over and onto the air cleaner base.
Tighten the air cleaner case mounting bolts and
cover screws.
Reinstall the removed parts in the reverse order of
removal.
