COOLING SYSTEM
Connect the water hose (page 1-22).
Tighten the water hose band screw to the specified
range (page 7-10).
Install a new O-ring into the groove in the water
pump.
Align the bolt holes in the pump and crankcase,
then install the water pump cover with the bolts and
a new sealing washer.
Tighten the bolts to the specified torque in a criss­
cross pattern in several steps.
TORQUE: 13 N·m (1.3 kgf·m, 10 Ibf·ft)
Connect the water hose (page 1-22) and tighten the
water hose band screw to the specified range
(page 7-10).

Disconnect the siphon hose from the reserve tank
RESERVE TANK
and drain the coolant.
Remove the bolt and reserve tank.
Route the hoses Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
