Air Cleaner - Honda VT750C2 Shadow Spirit Service Manual

MAINTENANCE
Pull the SE valve knob all the way out to fully open
position and recheck for smooth operation of the SE
valve knob.
There should be no freeplay.
Check valve seat on the SE valve for damage.
Reinstall the SE valve in the reverse order of
removal.
TORQUE:
SE valve nut: 2.3 N·m (0.2 kgf·m, 1.7 Ibf.ft)
AIR CLEANER
NOTE:
• The viscous paper element type air cleaner can
not be cleaned because the element contains a
dust adhesive.
• If the motorcycle is used in usually wet or dusty
areas, more frequent inspections are required.
Remove the socket bolts and air cleaner cover.
Remove the air cleaner element from the air cleaner
housing.
Make sure that the
O~ring
is installed in position and
is in good condition,'and replace it with a new one if
