CRANKSHAFTITRANSMISSION
CRANKSHAFT INSTALLATION
Apply molybdenum disulfide oil to the crankshaft
main journals and install the crankshaft into the left
crankcase.
Assemble the crankcase (page 13-49).

or peeling ana replace them if necessary.
Select the replacement bearing (page 13-14).
OIL CLEARANCE INSPECTION
Clean off any oil from the bearing inserts and crank­
pins.
Put. a strip of plastigauge lengthwise on each
cranl<pinavQiding the oil hole.
