F. Turn the heart rate board over
and use a Phillips head
screwdriver to remove the screw
from the heart rate bracket. See
Figure 21.
5. Attach the heart rate bracket and
new heart rate board.
A. Place the screw removed during
step 4F into the heart rate board
from the bottom. See Figure 21.
B. Place the short end of the heart
rate bracket over the screw on
the heart rate board with the
standoff touching the board.
See Figure 21.
C. Using a Phillips head
screwdriver, attach the heart rate
board to the console with the
two screws removed in step 4E.
D. Be sure the cable is still firmly
connected in the right side of the
heart rate board. See Figure 21.
NOTE: If you are replacing the CSAFE board follow steps 6 and 7. If not skip to step 8.

CSAFE Board

6. Remove the CSAFE board.
A. Using a Phillips head screwdriver, remove the two screws that hold the CSAFE board
and jumper to the console.
B. Gently pull the CSAFE board
down and out of the display
board. See Figure 22.
7. Attach the new CSAFE board.
A. Gently push the CSAFE board
into its connector on the display
board. See Figure 22.
B. Place the jumper terminal over a
hole on the CSAFE board.
C. Using a Phillips head screwdriver, secure the CSAFE board and jumper with the two
screws removed during step 6A. NOTE: Do not overtighten.
