Authentication Method — Defines the port's authentication method. The
possible field values are:
-
802. 1 x Only —
only. MAC addresses are ignored.
-
MAC Only —
only. 802. 1 x frames are ignored.
-
MAC & 802. 1 x—
addresses and 802. 1 x frames.
When the device sends a MAC address as the 802. 1 x user name or password to a
RADIUS server, the characters ":" and "-" are not forwarded to the RADIUS server.
Avoid defining the corresponding MAC address with ":" and "-" in the RADIUS
server.
Define the relevant fields.
Click Setting Timer. The
ports for 802. 1 x functionality.
