QoS Commands
When you configure QoS (Quality of Service) on the access point, you can select specific network
traffic, prioritize it, and use congestion‐management and congestion‐avoidance techniques to
provide preferential treatment. Implementing QoS in your wireless LAN makes network
performance more predictable and bandwidth utilization more effective.
Eight classes are defined for the priority. Network managers determine actual mappings. The
highest priority is seven and the lowest priority is 0. For example, if you select 5 as the priority, 5
receives higher priority than those set with 0, 1, 2, 3, or 4 and lower priority than those set with 6
and 7 as their priority.
