WARNINGS, CAUTIONS, AND NOTES
When using Stormscope, there are several atmospheric phenomena in addition to nearby thunderstorms
NOTE:
that can cause isolated discharge points in the strike display mode. However, clusters of two or more
discharge points in the strike display mode do indicate thunderstorm activity if these points reappear after
the screen has been cleared.
All visual depictions contained within this document, including screen images of the G1000 panel

The GDU 1040/1042/1044 PFD/MFD may require a warm-up time of up to 30 minutes when exposed

to -40˚C for an extended period. A warm-up time of up to 15 minutes may be required when exposed to
-30˚C for an extended period.

Interference from GPS repeaters operating inside nearby hangars can cause an intermittent loss of

attitude and heading displays while the aircraft is on the ground. Moving the aircraft more than 100 feet
away from the source of the interference should alleviate the condition.
NOTE: Use of polarized eyewear may cause the flight displays to appear dim or blank.
